Story Writing Workshop... What's Your Story?
About
Everyone’s life is unique and worthwhile, and everyone has a story to tell. Nothing is more valuable than capturing your own story, the stories of your family and family histories for your whanau, friends, and the wider community. These stories are reminders of who we once were, the context of the time, the people who influenced us, the choices we made, the turning points in our lives, and who we are now. Join us if you’d like to get started on a writing project. All you need is an open mind,
It’s never too late to start writing. Nothing is more valuable than capturing your own story, the stories of your family and family histories for your whanau, friends, and the wider community. You may want to focus on an essential part of your life, for example your childhood, teenage years, an overseas experience/travel story, a hobby you are passionate about, your career, a relationship, an illness or loss, a spiritual experience, a family secret, a collection of memories, or elements of your family history. Whatever you want to work on, you are most welcome to join us. After all, if your don’t capture your story, who will?
There are limited spaces for this full-of-fun free workshop - book early for this rare and insightful opportunity.
